We left Lisbon early that day, heading to Alentejo, eager to see its light and scent of the ocean.
As we arrived, all the stress of the city life disappeared and slowness and calmness installed.

We worked to prepare everything for the guests’ arrival, knowing those ‘guests’ would soon become our friends, with whom we would share a meal and life stories.

We listened to Margarida and Maria stories while the sun was going away and learned how they decided to change their busy and stressful life to a slower and peaceful one.

We shared a meal, laughed and enjoyed the fresh air, and finished the evening with a good cup of coffee shared with new friends.

tuna fish muxama
compound butters with homemade spelt bread, smoked salt and radish
horse mackerel fillet confit with rhubarb and sweet potato mash
seasonal fruits galette with vanilla custard
