Power of cinema

Since my adolescence years I am a big fan of Sherlock Holmes. After visiting library I would run home, close myself in the room and wouldn’t go out until I would finish a book.
This was a faze but I kept this special kind of ‘relation’ with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

When I heard that Guy Ritchie made a new version of Sherlock Holmes….same director that made Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch… 2 movies I adore…definitely I got scared. Is he going to ruin my vision of Sherlock? Is it going to be on the level?
And as much I was curious to see the movie I was also afraid of leaving the cinema completely disappointed.
So…finally last night I had chance and courage to go to see it…and I must say I absolutely adore it. Great vision of famous English detective from 221B Baker Street ,great scenario…I felt some kind of satisfaction when I left cinema…something I actually can’t explain. You know that kind of feeling that i think we all had as kids, wondering if this year Santa is going to bring us presents we really want and then we get such a perfect exact toy we wanted 🙂
